Anyone else feeling Treme yet?
Head-Fi's Best Sellers
^ I don't really understand the question. Every episode has at least one musical interlude. Although, they didn't really cover the New Orleans Indians as close as I would of liked. That was fascinating.
BTW, I thought the first season was great. It's more of a mood piece, which I totally dug. There are many great blogs that discuss the show, with its myriad of references. It's a thick soup to be sure.
Anyone who enjoyed and finished the show, should head over to Hit Flix, where they interviewed David Simon - heavy spoilers of course.

Heh, god bless you duotone. Why weren't more people into this show! Maybe home video, will convert some more. It was a bit of a mood piece.
Anyway, not a book, but for anyone whom would like to seriously dive into Treme, may I would heartily suggest the documentary: Trouble the Water beforehand.

Thanks, will have a look into that ^
Not sure why its not popular as I havent seen it. Maybe more people thought it was going to be more like The Wire and after watching the 1st episode when it was nothing like The Wire they just abandoned it?
Yesterday I discovered that Spotify has the album of the Treme season one soundtrack which I began listening to, which is getting me amped up to watch the series.
