HeadRoom Ultra Desktop DAC balanced

My question is if both analog outs (balanced and single) are active at the same time in the Ultra Desktop DAC Balanced. I mean if it is possible to have plugged at the same time a HeadRoom balanced Ultra Amp (in the UDAC balanced out) and a single cable to feed my preamp+amp+speakers (in the single RCA outs)

Of course it´s not my idea to listen to both (headphones and speakers) at the same time, but I´d like to have both connections plugged at the same time and then my problem is if having one of the outs with the cable plugged makes no possible to play thru the other out or viceversa.

Jorge, Tyll or Jamey , could some of you enlighten me??

Yes, they both function at the same time.
