My favorite of the lot has to be This Is Happening. By far his best album to date!

If we're talking Alt. It would definitely be The Wild Hunt for me. Tell me how BSS goes. I'm quite intrigued.

Wow, I don't pay attention to release dates. The only thing I can think of offhand is Massive Attack - Heligoland

Off the top of my head, I really liked A Thousand Suns - Linkin Park and Year of the Black Rainbow - Coheed and Cambria

Despite the disappointment of Massive Attack's 2003 album 100th Window, I still had high hopes. Which is why Heligoland got my disappointment of the year award. I did enjoy Tricky's Mixed Race much better, despite the fact that he isn't close to his 90s A-game either.
