Have dealt with Robert / AphroditeCu29 and the experience was nothing but positive. Outstanding dealer with terrific communication and true dedication to customer service. The work he does isn't half bad either . Enjoy your new cable!

Are you comparing this directly with a stock T1 of the same burn in time or just from memory?

They are the same T1 so just rom memory but I know I had problems appreciating them before and I know what exactly I didn't like from their sound. Now all that is gone and it is a total toss up between them and my HD800.

Musicman59, how did the bass change after the recable? Also did you get good bass with the Violectric?

Cheers P

The Zeus cable made the whole sound a lot better. Specifically the bass got faster, deeper but tighter. A chage that I welcomed was in the soundstage. There was somthing in the soundstage with the stock cable that just didn't sound right to me. I called it defiused soundstage for lack of knowing how to call it. it also sound kind of compressed in height but it was an effect of comparing them to the HD800. After the Zeus cable the soundstage got bigger. The coprasion I was feeling is gone and not more difused sound. Everything is very holographic with instrument and voice in its own place and sourrounded by a black space between them.

Another benefit I found with the Zeus is that the T1 got noticably louder so I was able to reduce the volume frm the amplifier to have the same sound pressure than before. The resaon is the WireWorld wire low impendance.

I will answer the question about the V100 in one way.... IMO the T1 sound better out of the V100 than out of my Rudistor RP010B, RSA Apache and Headamp GS-1. I actually liked so much that I sold it and upgraded to the V200.

The bass got close to the bass out of the D7000 and that is a lot to say out of a semi-open headphones compared to the D7000.

I just got the V200 yesterday. I  has just a little bit less power for high impedance headphones but it's just 1.1 volt less and 70 mV less so it is not that much but the sound is even cleaner and more defined. I think it is beciase ti has double the damping factor so it controlles better the voice coils and slightly less THD.

I truly believe the Violectic amps are a great Solid State option for the T1 and also the HD800.

musicman59 - How good is V200 in term of 3D? And how would you describe its sound signiture. Many thanks!

Great solid state option, but is there à bettet tube option out there? Slylab seems to hold the Leben cs300x in high regard. As soon as I have an adapter I Will run it from my Mactone.

Robert from AphroditeCu29.com let me know today he will be giving 20% discount to the first 3 Zeus orders. That would be a very attractive price for an awesome sounding cable.

How much lower is the impedance on this kind of high purity OCC wire than stock t1 cable? Both are 24 awg. but I can't find ohm measurements online for different purities/processes of copper. I have the different wires but my $15 multimeter only measures one decimal heh.

Any update on this cable? Anyone?

Well, I missed the 20% discount, but Robert has my T1's for the same cable convert he did on yours. I wasnt un-happy with the T1's sound so much, but my amp is balanced and I wanted the headphones to work as well as possible. And like everyone else has already said, Robert is a very nice person to do business with.

Let us know what do you think about the sound after they come back. I Head-fi friend from the area just got his back and he says he can not take them off his head!

I got my beyerdynamic t1 headsett last week and I just HATE listening to (some, not all) metal with this headphones, everything else is just amazing , pop , r&b , trance , rap  etc . is there anything I can do to make the sound better/different ?

This song is awsome (I love it) but I dont like listening to it with my t1 headsett
there is just something about it that I dont like , Im not very good at describing
it but if you own a t1 listen to the song
I bet you will know what I mean.

I was disappointed on the T1 in stock mode after I bought them. I was about to give up on them until I recabled them with a top quality OCC copper cable. After that they became one of my favorites. There are some good cables around but my favorite price performance wise is the Zeus cable.

Robert E-mailed me and my newly re-cabled T1's will be shipped back to me early next week. Which is pretty good timing because my Woo WA22 will be here early next week as well. And I have the Treasures and Sophia Princess tubes here waiting, and the Tung-sol's should be here by the end of the week. All of this just in the nick of time. I bought this setup to use at work and I just got put on approved overtime (= paid) for the next 4-6 months. Maybe longer. So I will have plenty of opportunity to properly burn it all in.
