Has anyone had this happen to their S series Walkman?
Almost immediately after I purchased mine last October, I started experiencing flickering of the screen. It didn't affect anything else, but it caused some concern and annoyance.
Well a couple months ago, it shut down and no amount of resetting, plugging into the computer, etc. would help. But the next day I tried again and it worked.
Now it's happened again and it's been a week and it won't work. It turns on, but it freezes at the start screen with the Walkman logo and "Every moment has its music".
Mind you, I've never dropped it and it doesn't have a single scratch on it because I have a screen protector and silicone case.
Has anyone had this problem? I've owned several Sony DAPs because I love the sound signature and I've never had any problems at all with any of them.
It's under the 1 year warranty, but to receive a refurbished replacement, I need to pay $30 for "labor". Not to mention the time and money I have to waste packaging it and sending it in.
Please share if I have other options or if you've had this problem.
