Just bought them a few days ago, but their sound signature is too far from what I am used to. Otherwise, they are quite impressive as a comfortable and detailed earbud/hybrid combo.
I'm asking for $90 shipped.
Jessica Fae gives a very thorough description of their sound and fit, with updates and discussion over the span of months in her thread, here:http://www.head-fi.org/forums/f4/aud...-ec700-284927/
For the most part, I agree with her observations. I just did not realize how much of a basshead I seem to be, as these are lighter on the lower end.
Anyway, for the specs:
-Mint, newly bought, and comes in original, undamaged box with packaging/booklets/warranty paper
-Clean, original foam socks included in mini-ziplock bag
-This is the silver edition, the clips made out of aluminum.
I would upload photos, but I do not have a camera. I can, however, assure that these are authentic EC700's, bought in-person at adorama camera in NYC, and that they come with Audio Technica's packaging materials as they are described here: Amazon.com: R. Ding's review of Clip-on/earbud Hybrid Headphones

| Here's what a legit and genuine pair should have: - Cheap looking box (using recyclable cardboard, the Japanese are environmentalists)However, the bar code, serial numbers, logo, etc, should all be very precisely and clearly printed, not cheap looking!!! - 1 Pair of foams (socks) for the earbuds, in resealable bag with WHITE seal. If it's red cheap seal, it's fake. - Earphones should be securely fastened to the seat inside. - Pamphlet with recycle information/material used in earphones. In many languages including Japanese, Germany, Chinese Simplified, Portugues, etc. - Instruction manual explaining how to fit, how to connect, etc. With illustrations - Import series pamphlet with 2-year warranty (may not be included if it's not a US version) |
