My EMP has for months failed to make any sound except a loud buzzing (thread), and it's been suggested to me that there's a small possibility it could be a problem with the power supply.
Is there anyone in the UK (pref South East/London area) who would be kind enough to temporarily lend me their PSU or, perhaps more realistically, let me call in and test my amp out? I would consider taking a gamble on buying one if that's the only option but I'd rather be sure it's going to work first, as I imagine a replacement PSU isn't going to be cheap.
