I used to play several years ago but never got past cal-M . The US scene is basically dead and I don't know for how much longer Europe will keep 1.6 alive

CPL and CAL are making a comeback. I haven't really played much because of school and work but it was a great experience.

I used to play 1.6, but I mostly switched over to Source and then moved on to AA2, then 3. I mostly play RPGs these days, but I still duck into shooters now or then.

Best FPS EVER. I just never found anything thats like it after the scene died...
Wow, you were a united5 player? Who were you ?

I never made it past Cal-m either. Played in WCG Hong Kong though.

I never played any league comps etc. Mainly online clans within Australia. I must say though, it took me quite a while to get used to CS:S. Going back to 1.6 is like cakewalk. Pretty much the best online FPS ever imo

Of late i hardly play any online games... My PS3 gets a work out.

MMO's get me hooked way to easily so i had to stop and have a life... All started with Ultima Online :/

I was a long time 1.6 player and reluctantly switched to Source when my brother and our friends starting playing it. Didn't like it at first, but quickly came to prefer it much over 1.6.

I was never much for competitive playing, but I frequent the TNB Gaming servers and have done TWL GG ladders just for fun.

Unfortunately, due to work, I haven't had a good chance to sit down and play for a while!

Play it competitively in India, both Source and 1.6 ! Haven't got much time to try the ESEA PUG servers or find a team here!

Loved 1.6! Got into source as well but mainly play Day of Defeat: Source now.

After playing DoD: Source on and off for over two years, I almost have my general star....so close.
