Thanks, the DBA's sound like they would be better than HJE's from what Ive read. I looked at the DDM's previously but the fit seems iffy and I like the DBA's because I also have Comply tips that need to be used :D

Thanks for the reply though, I really appreciate it since all of this is overwhelming still.

Sorry to hear that :( But $80 for such a small and light package? That's kinda ridiculous. Maybe try DHL or even USPS or something?

My seller was nice and offered a refund, so after contemplating shipping these to Russia (to Dmitry), I decided to just ship mine back to the seller for the refund. I'll probably just use USPS for that.

USPS will be a lot cheaper. Priority Mail International Flat Rate Envelope and Small Flat Rate Box are both $12.78 (online) and $13.45 (at the Post Office) to Singapore, and takes 6-10 days.

I ship using USPS all the time overseas. No reason to even pay for Priority Mail International, because there is no delivery guarantee (its basically a ripoff). You just need to use USPS First Class International, and keep the customs number on the receipt because it can be used to track the package once it leaves the US. And it takes about the same amount of time. Cost: If you use a padded envelope or small box and protect the phones, $10 or less. Don't pay for priority, not worth it. Using UPS is nuts for non-domestic shipping.

Ship it with USPS, registered. Don't get the 'fastest shipping' option from USPS because it is only slightly faster in the U.S. and generally almost just as slow as other USPS options oversea (this is from multiple personal experiences). In the end, it will arrival within a few days of each other regardless of which option you used.

Don't bother with DHL or UPS oversea (especially to S.E. Asia) unless you have cooperate account. They cost more and often get taxed by custom. Not worth it.

Are they mutually exclusive?

^ Well they are different. My interest was aroused rather than annoyed.

Anyone know when the dba shipping?  The ebay seller estimate it shipped end of july, but still nothing.

Ordered from Bugden Audio. Still waiting for my shipment because they were out of stock.

However they said they would ship end of July beginning of August so perhaps hopefully they ship it this week but probably next week.

I emailed treoo and they said they will have the DBA-02 in stock approximately August 14th

I e-mailed Dmitry (the eBay guy) on Monday, 7/26 to see if there was any update on the shipping date and haven't heard anything.  I'll try him again today and keep everyone posted if I hear anything.

Can't wait for these to ship... since my Shure SE210s crapped out, I have been making due with Philips SHE9500s which I can't stand since they're buds and can't compete with the NYC subway.
