**Another price drop**Looking for $280 shipped to CONUS and paypal covered.
Welp, I guess I'm gonna try to make room on the shelves for a new metal/woody project. This time, completely of my own creation. Probably with my SR60's. Just bought a band saw and a belt sander. Just need to find someone with a lathe to hurt myself on.
So I've got my one of kind SR225's on the block. Here's the original thread from early 2009 link and here's the link that I purchased them from a few months ago.
They did not look nearly as nice as the pics that were posted. No offense to the seller. The biggest issues were the beatup Jmoney headband, oxidized and fragile metal forks, discolored and lackluster wood cups and rodclamps and somewhat poor condition sleeving.
Here is my post in the forums regarding my changes to the headphones.

These are MUCH sturdier than before. Please note that these will likely only fit small to medium size heads.
Note, that I had posted about some sibilance issues with these phones. However, it was tracked down mostly to a very sibilant and kind of sizzly recording of Ray LaMontagne Gossip in the Grain, with track #2 "Let it be me" being the main culprit. Additionally I have a couple Equalizer pre-sets on my sytem that completely mitigate the issue. Here is the link.
Please also note that the custom headband is not exactly perfect. there are some rough edges, but they really do not detract from the overall look of the cans. These babies are all wood/metal/leather. The only plastic is the driver housing. I will include the original headband it came with. It's easy to switch out headbands. Just use a blowdryer on one of the rod clamps to loosen up the hot glue. Replace headband and then re-apply hot glue.
Will also ship with original cardboard box.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks for looking peepsters.
