I ordered one of these for $35 yesterday, does anyone have experience with these or opinions?

IPOD IPHONE Line Out Dock (LOD) to RCA Audiophile Cable - eBay (item 260563307361 end time May-03-10 16:22:36 PDT)

Might be a late response....ordered the 1-meter version of this LOD cable. Good craftmanship, quality connectors (neutrik), seems durable. Very helpful seller, I had difficulties with the delivery and he even offered a full refund. As this is my first and only iPOD LOD I cannot compare SQ-wisely. All I can say, that it's almost impossible to distinguish my 7th gen IPod classic and my CD player playing the same song and connected to the same headamp, which is a clear step-up from the HP out connection using a cheap 3.5mm Jack-RCA  cable. The inner cable itself is a "simple" microphone cable (Canare Quad Core), nothing exotic material / technology here, I guess the price is mostly justified by the connectors and the workmanship costs.

Hey Now,

 

I just ordered a LOD from him. He was very helpful. It is silver with a ViaBlue mini. Looks nice, nice price as well. Should be here in another week or so. It is my first LOD, so no comparison possible.

I do have an ALO iMod Dock waiting on my iMod to get finished up  I haven't listened to my iPods with an LOD yet

I have had mine a few weeks now and its great. I use it in my bedside rig between my Nano and my Little Dot 1+ to feed my MS1000i's and it sounds great. It compares favorably to my ALO bling bling silver cable LOD. I fall asleep each night to it :)
