I bought a pair for my D2000's. I felt they were of a very high level of quality and were extremely well made. I found that they tightened up the sound of the D2000's, making the bass sound more controlled and generally everything a little less muddy. They also made the mids/upperbass very recessed and because of this made the sound less engaging for me and overall I disliked the sound signature. The thickness does give a better fit to the headphones. Unfortunately I wear glasses, so this made the exprience quite frustating and at times uncomfortable. I have kept the J$ pads for now, but I prefer my D2000's with the stock pads.
