Double-ended USB cable and Total Bithead

Have you guys ever tested those double ended USB cables that are used for powering some portable hard drives with the Total Bithead?

If so, does it increase the power to the amp when using the DAC/AMP from USB power?

While we haven't tried these types of cables, I don't think they would offer any more power. The output of the Total BitHead is limited by the voltage supplied by either the USB input or the batteries. I don't think that having more current available would do much to improve the sound as it doesn't seem to be the limiting factor as the product is currently designed.

Thanks for the question. Cool idea that I'll keep in mind for future products.
