DIY headbands, anyone?

Thread Starter
I'm looking to DIY a leather headband for a pair of Grados, and was wondering if anyone else has done this sort of thing. Can anyone recommend a good variety of leather and perhaps even some sort of template?

It seems that most of the after market headbands use lambskin so I guess that would be a good material to use.

Depends on if you're going to stuff it, or just have a new leather band (similar to a standard Grado band, but leather). Any old thick leather works for a non-stuffed one. However if you wanna put some padding in it, I'd say sheep/lamb since it's usually pretty soft.
