Metropolis Pt. 1 by Dream Theater did this to me last night. In the beginning, when the guitar first starts to come in, the hairs on my arms shot up.

I have posted about "Gollum's Song" on the Two Towers soundtrack before and I'll post about it again: EVERY time I listen to it I get goosebumps. Hauntingly beautiful if that isn't too cliche.

I heard all sorts of detail I had been missing and it left me in bliss from beginning to end.
I actually do that a lot. My problem is, I don't generally enjoy an album the first time I listen to it... Listening in the car allows me to ease into the melodies, then the headphones are where I get the full effect.

The transitions are the most exciting part for me (between 'songs,' that is). Yourself?

Yeah, definitely meant that the album was Godbluff. However, I absolutely looove Still Life, especially the title track and La Rossa.

Yea? I'm going to give that a listen right now. I have all of the LotRs CDs on my computer but haven't given them a listen yet. That's about to change

This time it's Gundays Child by Sleepytime Gorilla Museum. Beauty, innocence, power and devastation all rolled into one. Wow, what a ride.

I've mentioned my love for Cloud Cult in other threads, but their album Feel Good Ghosts (Tea-Partying Through Tornadoes) is my #1 desert island album.

I was sitting on the train on the way to catch up with an old friend, watching the countryside whizz by , listening to 4hero-Universal love remix

I got goosebumps bad , a very uplifting yet reflective track if that makes any sense
