This is a portable headphone amplifier by AMB Laboratories. It was a kit assembled by me and was bought from hohodiy.com, a Taiwanese company that supplied various audio-electronic kits, but is now not operating anymore. This amplifier is quite well-known by headphone enthusiasts and is very respected throughout. Various members on head-fi agree that the amp punches well above its weight(due to it being so affordable). It is the high-performance version.

I have not used this amp much at all (charged it a total of only 5 times) It comes with a 9volt NiMH rechargeable battery and can be charged by plugging in a wallwart into the back socket. You will have to supply your own wallwart(AC-DC adapter 15-24VDC) which can easily bought from dicksmith or jaycar.

I paid a total of $125 for both the un-assembled kit and the rechargeable 9Volt battery, so basically you will be paying for parts cost. I have feedback both on head-fi and ebay.

Ohyeah I forgot, the only issue with the amp is that the volume pot is slightly scratchy only when adjusted. But is perfectly fine otherwise.
