denon ah d2000 amp

Hey every one I'm looking for a nice amp to go with my denon ah d2000's. I'm currently running them from my computer powered by a asus xonar d1 soundcard. I find that they don't get as loud as I would like, and the bass does sound a little lose. I eq'ed it and I like the highs I just wouldn't mind a bit tighter bass, and also it to be louder.

I'm a noob when it comes to amps, and I just want some suggestions. I know that the asus audiophile card has an amp built in, but I'm assuming that just buying an external headphone amp would be better (I like the idea of not having something extra setting on my desk which is why I bring up the asus soundcard).

My budget is < $200

I am open to a DIY, or trying to find a used amp.

I am partial to solid state amps w/ the Denon D2000 and D5000. I would go to the for sale forum and see if you could score a good deal on an SS home amp.

Cool, yeah I have heard that ss amps are better for d2000 as well.

I managed to find a HR MicroAmp here and they drive the D2000's easily.
