Battlefiled BC2 sound settings?

Hey guys, love the forum and i've found tons of good info here, but I have a question.

I have a X-Fi gamer, with CRSS-3D enabled emulating 7.1 surround to my AD700's. But which is the best ingame sond setting in BC2 for positional audio?

I've been playing with the "Home Theatre" option enabled and its decent but everything in this game is too busy and almost impossible to hear things like footsteps. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated.

I don't do any of the 3D emulation in any of my FPS games. I just do stereo, and use either Hi Fi or Home Cinema. War Tapes is good if you want to be blasted.

"War Tapes" is indeed the best. But you're going to ruin it by using that virtual surround sound.
