Thanks!  I have started using it as a speaker amp - running a pair of B&W Nautilus 805's.  It sounds shockingly good.

I bet it does! I prefer the sound of vintage receivers/integrated amps. Beautiful looking amp Skylab (I forgot to comment on it earlier)! The wood case is amazing & I love the design of the front of the amp.

Very Nice!

Okay, this thing does indeed look very sexy but did Skylab review the amp itself anywhere that I'm not aware of?

Wow, MAJOR thread dredge! LOL. No, I never actually reviewed the Fisher - doesn't seem to make sense to review a 50 year old amp that isn't all that easy to get biggrin.gif But I do still love the Fisher.

Lovely piece of art this one.

How much for the custom cabinet?

Thanks!  I think it was about $200.

Really nice looking amp. i have Quad ll mono blocks . the tubes are exposed so they get all the ventilation necesary . does yours ventilate well with that nice wooden kabinet ? , i am in the process of buying one like yours xt-100 , the owner claims that he removed the bottom plate for better air circulation while the wooden kabinet is on , the amp is missing two control knobs , can they be found ?

The power tubes are in the back of the amp and are fully exposed, back and top. Unless you stuck the amp in a drawer, there would be no heat issue wink.gif

Not sure about the knobs, although almost anything like that can be found on eBay if you are patient.

Tasty looking amp! I own a X-100-B and love it to death. Such a great amp and was only a couple hundred to buy. Thing is mint too!

That looks great!
