2nd Generation Clip SQ vs new Clip SQ

Okay, I am totally convinced on the Sansa Clip and is now my reference player.

A Naxos recording I transferred on to it was absolutely stunning as is a reference demo cd on my stereo system.

IF I decide to upgrade to a more recent Clip with expandable memory how is the SQ on the more recent players as I know they support AAC and FLAC.

Of course, I'm using my PAV2 headphone amp and it just totally shines on this.

Opinions??

To date there is only two versions of the Sansa Clip. The original "Sansa Clip" and the newer "Sansa Clip+". The Clip+ is a big improvement on the original Clip.
A good review can be found here SanDisk Sansa Clip+ Plus Review
I can't comment on the SQ of either players because I have never owned or listened to them (Yet). But in nearly every other regard the Clip+ vs the original Clip the Clip+ wins.

i recentely purchased the clip+ and it sounds really great. very neutral and balanced with a touch of warmth. it has a full and punchy bass, which i personally like very much.
as for the older version of the clip, from all the reviews i read, they say that the new version is slightly leaning towards warmer sound, and the older version toward the analytical side, but also sounds very good.
based on these reviews and also other technical improvements,I decided to get the clip+.
