Thanks Skylab.

I just picked up a pair of Mullard CV4024's and am awaiting them anxiously.

 

I had been looking for some new tubes and I'm ready for it to be taken to another level...hopefully to 11 .

 

I'll post my impressions after the change.

OK, I got the tubes a few days ago and have started to give them a listen. So far i can say that they are an improvement. The difference is subtle but its there.

 

From what i can hear they have added a bit more transparency and extension, especially in the lows. there is also a bit more bass. Not much but i welcome it with my 702's.

 

And, I no longer here any hum with my lower impedance phones. Which is nice.

 

I'll let them break in some more and post any more changes i notice.

Fun journey thus far. Always enjoyable to see another find tubes do well with the Ks. No skimping on the power supply.

Hello,

 

I'm interested in this amp paired with the AKG K702, but am having a hard time finding one? Any advice on where to buy the amp or even to find additional information?

It seems their other offerings are very expensive. That's too bad, it seemed like an intriguing option in my hunt for a headphone/amp combo.

I would definitely sent them an email or message through ebay. They are extremely nice and helpful.

I've seen their amps come and go on ebay so it will probably pop back up soon.

Sorry for the bump but anyone managed to contact them? I was looking and could not find an ebay account for meg tube audio nor j. sound lab.
