Up for sale are a pair of Grado HP-2 headphones that have been re-cabled with a balanced Stefan Audio Art Equinox cable terminated with a Neutrik 4-pin XLR connector. These are beautiful and classic headphones with an updated cable that takes their sound to a higher level. The Equinox is 11.5 ft long, so you have plenty of room to maneuver while listening. The lettering is just as pictured in photos I took today. There is no original box, but I will include the hard case pictured here, and I will either pick out the foam to fit or pack it safely and let you pick out the foam as you see fit.
Asking $1600, which is less than I paid for it recently without the hard case. The Equinox alone would cost over $400, let alone the re-cabling cost. EDIT: I will include an adapter from 4-pin XLR to standard 1/4" jack for extra flexibility.
