It has kids in it, and is marketed such that it would appeal to kids. Yet, it is not for kids. Again, Robocop comes to mind. Are we being intelectually dishonest about what this movie is? As a father, I didn't mind my kids seeing Die Hard or Face Off or most any other R rated cartoon violence film. This one I'd be more squeamish about, as kids are doing the violence and using really awful language. Another way, do we want kids watching a movie about violent vigilante kids, that is in fact a film for adults? Kids didn't make this movie, adults did. I still like it though.

I finally was able to saw this film last night and I have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed this film. Like many said already, this film is not for kids but my favorite character is "Hit-Girl" except she is waaaay too young for this kind of role. Kind of sick twisted genre,,,,, sort of ,,,,,,Quentin Tarantino,,,,, type of movie,,,,,.

This firm thoroughly "kicked ass".  I echo the message that this is not for kids.  But does Mindy kick ass or what.
