It has kids in it, and is marketed such that it would appeal to kids. Yet, it is not for kids. Again, Robocop comes to mind. Are we being intelectually dishonest about what this movie is? As a father, I didn't mind my kids seeing Die Hard or Face Off or most any other R rated cartoon violence film. This one I'd be more squeamish about, as kids are doing the violence and using really awful language. Another way, do we want kids watching a movie about violent vigilante kids, that is in fact a film for adults? Kids didn't make this movie, adults did. I still like it though.
