I have had these cans for a little bit of time but they hardly get any use. When I got them I loved the sound but the highs/mids were a little muffled due to the 1/4inch thick foam that covers the drivers.
I decided to remove the foam covering the drivers and also cut out the inner lining on the headphone pads. The result is a brighter sound with more detail and more emphasis in the mids.
The phones are easily driven by a headphone out port on an ipod or computer and they sound even better through a portable amplifier.
I bought these for 120 but since I never use them anymore and need the cash, I'm willing to let them go for a little over half of that: 60 bucks shipped to anywhere in the US.
I have the original box and will ship the phones inside that box.
