Which Rush remasters are better?

First they had the MFSL remasters around the early '90s, then they were remastered by someone else around the late '90s. Just curious if anyone is familiar with both and how they compare to each other.

I can't speak for all the remasters, but I can definitely say that the Mercury remasters I have do not suck and from what I read most Rush fans recommend it as the cheapest and best sounding rush CDs to get. This website reviews the Mercury remasters highly favourable:

SoundStage! Rush - The Rush Remasters - Part 1 (1974-1980)
SoundStage! Rush - The Rush Remasters - Part 1 (1974-1980)

If you have time you can read this thread from the Hoffman forums, but be warned that these guys are old school and their standards will almost certainly be higher than your standards:

I greatly prefer the original CD releases to the remasters.
