Easy now, Baka. He's posted this advisory in the wrong forum. Should be moved to the headphone forum for discussion and hilarity. His eBay ad clearly states that it's a couterfeit, and he's selling it at a loss (ie. less than the eBay listing fee). I expect there will likely be an Edmonton-area head-fi'er who picks it up for free, disassembles it and posts photos here.

smeagol, counterfeit headphones understandably get people's shorts in a knot on this forum, so you have to be a bit careful in how you proceed with notifications like this. I would maybe get in touch with some of your local organizers from this thread: http://www.head-fi.org/forums/f24/ed...ophone-460504/

I am not a fan of any type of conterfeit sales no matter what the motive. It's a slippery slope. Discussions are one thing and can be used as a precautionary tool. Sales are quite another. Sorry but I frown upon them and they are against Head-Fi policy.

Peace,

Peace,
I agree with your ethic on this matter; however I think warning against the sale while encouraging further discussion are more appropriate than banning the OP. Let smeagol give it to a local enthusiast to disassemble, that we might learn from it.
Peace right back atcha.
