LackRack weight limitations

Thinking of getting a Furman P-1800 AR as a voltage regulator for my HT system, and mounting it in an Ikea Lack table. The Furman weighs 15 pounds. I'm wondering if this is pushing it for 4 screws in cheap, MDF wood.

As in mounting it on the underside of the table?
I very much doubt you'd have a problem with weight, 15lb isn't that much for a table, just think of all the junk that would normally pile up on a table. And there'd be no strain on the screws, the force would be vertical, straight on the 4 legs.

I used to put a 50lb laser printer on one of the LACK end tables. They're pretty sturdy.

The surfaces are really thing, as they're mostly hollow. Don't expect to screw too much to it. If you do, use molly bolts or something like it.

The LACK shelves are sturdy enough, but the mounting hardware isn't. I've got a couple propped up with brackets.
