Due to financial pressure and other personal reasons, I am letting go of my Weiss Minerva DAC and I am looking to sell it at US$ 2700.
Before you hit the Reply or PM button, allow me to describe the unit and the condition it is in. This unit has been the local distributor's demo unit that was featured at a respectable audio gear store in Taipei. The following is a summary of the condition when I received the unit:
1. It has 2 nicks on the edges of the front panel.
2. The toslink input has been taped off and I don't see a socket there, so presumably, it is not available.
3. It didn't come with the original packaging nor literature (Minerva's manual is readily available online if you google it; so it should not be much of a problem).
Apart from these points above, the unit is in perfect working order and its performance is simply incredible. I was using a DAC1 before the Minerva and the Minerva offers substantially better performance. Bluntly put, the DAC1 doesn't even come close.
Fortunately, I do have the installation CD for its drivers (provided by Weiss).
I will have pics of the unit later today.
Like I said, I am looking to sell the unit at US$ 2700 (shipping not included) and I will only accept PayPal for payment. I am willing to ship it to anywhere in the world. Low ball offers will not be entertained.
