FS: HiFiMan HE-5 re-cabled w/ APS V3 XLR

- All other Head-Fi members who joined in June 2010 or later: $500 shipped FIRM within the USA, or add $10 for Canada.

I will not ship directly to any other countries for any reason. Absolutely no exceptions will be made.

This HE-5 is re-cabled with the APureSound V3 w/ dual Neutrik 3-pin male XLR terminations and Super Nylon sleeving in a 9' length. (Total value from APureSound was $839 before the recent price decrease due to the HE-5 being discontinued.) Bought this new from APureSound back in January and condition is 9/10 on the Audiogon scale. There are no aesthetic issues with the headphones and there are no cracks in the wood. All original materials are included (specifically the case). FYI: the warranty can also transfer to a 2nd owner.

If desired, I can also include a Moon Audio Silver Dragon XLR-1/4" cable adapter for $5 more (so the headphones can be used on an unbalanced amp). Length is 16" tip to tip. 1/4" plug is gold-plated and the XLR plugs are silver-plated Neutrik.

Initial price lowered further and additional terms set for a lower effective price in post #1 for specific types of Head-Fi members. I will not be adjusting the price anymore at this point and all prices listed are absolutely firm.

As I have not received any PMs about the headphones so far, I think I'm going to try this just for fun to see what happens: $530 shipped FIRM (includes the Silver Dragon XLR-1/4" adapter) within the USA only, and only for Head-Fi members who have either: (1) pre-existing feedback or (2) at least 50 posts and been a member since May 2010 or earlier.

This price will be good only for the next 14 days and will expire at 5:30 PM MST on 6/28/10.

I will be out of town starting tomorrow night (6/15) through Saturday 6/19 but will probably be able to check PMs at least once during that time.

As I'm really looking to sell these I've further lowered the price to an all-time low but will not be going lower at this point. See post #1 for all of the updates. I'll reiterate, the headphones are in excellent condition with no aesthetic issues and come with all the original materials.
