This forum got me way into 'phones (spent three times the amount I thought I would).
So I wanted too make the rig mobile!

After reading how good (compared too today's Discmans) I tracked down a D-802K (it seemed the forum luv's the "D" series). Paid way too much for it, however it was complete (box & manual; even extra fuse).

This almost old-enough-too-drink CD player sounds good. A bit too bassy for my taste (set on "normal"), butt still a fun/rich open sound!

Next, line-out too my amp (& custom can-cable) w/ the all so supplied 'free' line-out cable. Just got this, I'll up grade that cable as well (Belkin, possibly). Soooo...

Bass is tighter, just extra detail actually takes away some of the 'warmth'.
Clearer & cleaner tho!
