Headroom's The Max is a great amplifier, but I'm trying to downsize. The original knob is pitted and missing a set screw (came to me that way). I will include a different knob (a retro style RS knob) as well as the original, pitted, set-screwless knob. There are some minor dings along the crenellated edges of the amp's fascia, but nothing major. The worst one is in the rear of the amp which, depending on your set up, you may never see. Uses an IEC cord. Has a preamp out. You can find an enraptured Stereophile review online. $450 shipped Con US. I'd rather not ship abroad, this is big and heavy, but add $25 and I suppose I would.

The amp works perfectly with no issues, and is sold as is, though guaranteed not DOA. I won't answer low-ball offers, no offense intended.

Great price on Red, especially considering the Op Amp upgrade. Got a hot link to a picture of the Headroom Max?
