Personally, I usually leave the price so others know what price the item sold at. If I sold the item for a price other than the asking price, I might take it down from my thread. It really depends. I've sold things on other forums too, and I admit that I do get annoyed when sellers edit their opening post to say something like "For sale is a whatever headphone for $OLD!" Such a tease.

What bothers me even more is when sellers bump their threads with a "SOLD!" post. I mean seriously. Why tease everyone by bumping your thread and telling everyone that the item is sold? You can just edit your opening post instead.
