FS: Otari MX5050 tape deck - NJ/NY/Philly PICKUP ONLY

I have a terrific MX5050 tape deck that I am itching to get rid of.

I'll include the locking hubs and a 10'' take-up reel.

The heads were recently relapped by JRF magnetics.

Cosmetically beaten-up, but given a clean bill of health by nj factory service

fyi - the hubs and takeup reel alone are worth over $100, and the lapping service costs over $200.... but I REALLY want to get rid of this thing



This thing is huge and heavy, and I dont have a box to ship it in. If anyone in the New Jersey, Philly, or New York area wants this, shoot me a PM



UPDATE: NOW FOR SALE

ALL OF THIS SHOULD GO FOR $900, I'LL LET IT GO FOR $100 - surely someone wants to experiment
