I will be reviewing the e-Q7, but more importantly is a totally unique earphone called the Radius, a dynamic earphone with two drivers! I've been messing around with them (get your minds out of the gutter) for a couple of weeks and may be ready by next week to write a lot.

One driver is 15mm and the other 7mm - excellent, and surprisingly, not too bassy!
Radius W HP-TWF11

Yeah I am interested in how they sound too

By the way, Koss KDE250 also uses 2 drivers.

Yikes!! Yeah, they'd better sound good...not my cup of tea from an aesthetics POV (not like that ultimately matters, just sayin').

Not appealing to me either

For the price of around $150, I would like to know how they compete against other driver-based IEMs.

Back on track lads and lasses: the Supertips DO work with the Radius

I really want to try some Supertips... But I don't think I can get any soon unless I buy myself some Gold or Copper.

Hopefully, they do go on sale. I'd like to try production supertips rather than the samples as I hear they will be better.

I also hope that if Monster does offer them that we can buy certain sizes & not packs that contain all sizes. I got 5 pairs (each of a different size) w/ my Coppers; I'd hate to have to pay for sizes I can't even think of using. All I know is that these little white wonders are SO much better (for me) than the other tips that were included.

You are right; if they are sold, they need to be sold in size batches so you don't have leftovers/missized pieces.

Unless I have the chance trying those tips before buying, I can't tell which sizes will suit my ears. So I hope that Monster will sell them in both size batches and packs which contain all sizes

Right! Well for some earphones, I like the small, but the medium size sometimes also fits. Like the Olives, the large size is for elephants.

lol elephants. If the foam size is the same as the gel supertips then mediums are probably the way to go. I was trying the large thinking it was the medium and couldn't get it to fit :P

I do hope if they sell it that they will have individual sizes so it isn't like the sony hybrids where you spend 8 bucks for one pair of tips.

Okay, someone else mentioned this already so it's not my idea (sorry, I look through the threads and couldn't find who to give proper credit to), but since the white foam parts started to come loose on my hybrids too, I decided to try a little mod. So, I de-cored a pair of comply t400s I had laying around and took the white foams off of the silicon core of the Monster hybrids. THEY SOUND WONDERFUL!! The regular hybrids sounded pretty good to me, but this mod seems to allow the treble to breathe a bit more through the tips. Bass and mids are spectacular. So this is my first successful mod, but they hybrids themselves great if the regular ones are made to prevent the foam from separating from the core. Now, i'm about to pull one out to see how the comply foam hold to the core........(tick tock ....tick tock.....).. Okay, it slid off too coming out, but not as much as the white foams do. Wonder if there any type of safe adhesive I can apply to bond the core to the foam? Anyway, the isolation is wonderful and seems a tad better than the white foams, and the whole spectrum is somewhat more open with the comply mod. Interesting....

Edit: Listening through the Miles Davis'.....

since when did they start shipping the white supertips with the pros? I got a pair of Gold but the supertips are still the black silicon ones..

LOL, well guess call me an elephant then! Anyone interested in trading their large tips for a smaller one shoot me a PM. The large ones that came with my Monster Coppers seem to fit me just right. Clearly superior to the other tips that came with the copper.
