Yes, I am an Intel fanboy, as I do game and they are quite a bit better for this. Also overclocking with an Intel cpu is a lot of fun, AMD, not so much
BTW, an i5, RAM and cpu setup would cost about $400-$500, compared to an i7 setup that would cost you about $500-$600.
