Cowon D2/D2+ and S9(S9 is best of all), Sony S and E Series, as well as the X Series(2nd to the S9), Samsung's line of DAP's (P3 is 3rd to the S9 IMO, never tried the M1), all have SQ equal to the Sansa lineup, and do video quite well.

The Fuze sux for video BTW, and anyone who tells you differently is full of it, but I'm glad we're getting the honest opinions here in your thread. It's choppy, and the screen is only good for the occasional podcast or music video.

The new Samsung M1 excels at both, but has some other drawbacks, mainly memory limitations. Seems like a decent value with the touchscreen tho.

I have a Cowon D2, and its a brilliant little player.

The screen's a little too small for long videos, and I think I will replace my D2 with a J3 because its pretty much the S9 with expandable memory.

My iphone 3g is nice for video, capacity can be an issue though.

Btw just asking the peeps here, does the cowon d2 suffers from a bass roll off ?

I am going to order my Jh16 this saturday.
according to my friend, he demo the Jh13 with cowon d2, and the bass roll off was extremely obvious..
