Benchmark Dac1 USB w/EmpiricalAudio mods. Price drop.

I'm the second owner and hardly use it. $1000.


Dac1usb mods:

Empirical Audo stand-alone Turbo Headphone Mod package -- improvements of Volume Control, Headamp, and Dac as it applies to headphone listening.

Oscillator replaced with a modded Audiocom SuperClock 4 (very latest version of SC4)


The changes ($1100) make for wonderful, vivid, dynamic and detailed sound that smokes the stock Benchmark. This is a Killer one box solution --- and though I haven't been able to try this, I am told the volume control changes also make this into an excellent preamp.
