I find their 1970s recordings very nice. Is there anything else like them?

Thanks, sounds nice, getting some recordings of them.. Btw, just got Crusaders 'Golden years' CD set - to my ears, the quality of recordings are superb, nice warm sound, not like most of contemporary crap..

They played sessions on lots of albums back in the day, both individually and collectively. Two good examples that immediately spring to mind are Steely Dan's "Aja" and Michael Frank's "The Art Of Tea". I think you will find they pop up everywhere in that general place (L.A.), time and genre.
