iPod Touch 3G + different phones + RMAA = strange

Hi all! Sorry for my English - I'm from Russia.

I've tested my iPod Touch 3G 32 GB with RMAA and different earbuds.
Used Y-cable to split signal between phones and recording soundcard.
The Frequency Response with 16-Ohms Sony EX71 and 32-Ohms iBuds is similar and almost equal to unloaded signal (too good to be true!). But with UE SuperFi 5 Pro (21-Ohms) the graph goes crazy. See the image:

Can anyone explain that?
Does iPod have problems with low impedance? But EX71 have even less ohms, than UE. Or do armature IEMs have different impedance characteristics?

When I add airline adapter, included with UE, which is I believe a resistor - the chart becomes as flat as with other phones.

I also have iRiver LPlayer and cowon iAudio U3.
LPlayer also goes crazy with UE (but different from iPod), while cowon shows best graph with UE. see image:

The most interesting:
In real-life iPod sounds great to me and I can't really hear any big difference with Cowon U3. At least there is no that noticeable raise in mid-high, as it appears on chart.
Same for iPod with and w/o airline adapter.
Does that mean, the "Y-cable" loaded measurements with RMAA are incorrect?

well it could be that with the adapter in place the amp in the ipod 'sees' a more constant impedance, but without it the multiple drivers present an altogether more complex load as impedance changes with frequency

TY. Probably multiple drivers are the reason.

The test was b.t.w. made on a cheap soundcard, which (unlikely) added some error. The unloaded FR chart though looks 100% as what I measured on ESI Juli.

Will test iPod with Juli and different phones on Monday to see if it is same.
