French female vocalists

found this little gem online and it blew my mind:

YouTube - Really Really beautiful French song (Worth listening to!!!)

further research identified the female singer as Clemence Saint-Preux and I managed to try out a few of her other songs. All are great.

example: YouTube - Le Message

Anyone have suggestions for other great french vocalists that has a similar feel to their music? Actually, I won't find other european countries either.

Listening to songs in a language you don't understand has a unique appeal.

Great voice here. Considering brushing up on my french (my mom's perfectly fluent), but do agree with your last statement.

Who's the other kid? He beats Bieber hands-down (I heard Bieber yesterday on Late Night for the first time...which I really should have avoided).

Was searching around, and found this simple, yet beautiful piece:

Jean-Baptiste Maunier

Yeah he is pretty damn good too, though I have a preference for female vocals and thus didnt focus too much on him. On the other hand his voice quite similar to that of a female vocalist.

Carla Bruni - not quite as pretty vocally as those above, but convincingly soulful.
