W/drawn lack of interest...Millet Max hybrid tube amp,

Hi all,

This is the Millet Max hybrid tube amp. It is approximately 2 yrs old, and sounds very nice, very nice, indeed.

I have only owned this amp for a few months, and have had no issues whatsoever. I am selling for portable gear, or trading for ibasso D10 or Monster Turbine Pro Golds, or maybe the regular Monster Turbines and some cash on your end.

Take a good look at the back, as there are no RCA inputs, but instead there is a 1/4" single ended input.

I asked one of the engineers of the Max, Tom B., if this would have any adverse effect on the sound quality. He assured me that it would not.

I have a brand new 1/4" to RCA adapter that I will throw in with the amp as well.

I hope you will enjoy this amp as much as I have. I am selling because I am ultimately going balanced, and now looking for portable gear as well.

Thanks for looking,
Matt

P.S. my feedback on here is good, and on ebay, my id is myatesklan. I have about 8 yrs on there, with 100% positive feedback.

Also, there are two pics of my heaphones, DT880s Pro, the 250 ohm version, that I am also selling for $200 as well.

You may want to mention what capacitors are used for output and cathode bypass as well as tubes installed.

Good idea! The tubes are 12AE6, as far as the others, I don't know. I didn't build it. I am looking for the builder's name in my pms and emails, but no luck so far.

Mark the tubes as left/right, take them out, take the top off the case and post a photo - it would help MUCH.

There, I hope that helps. I tried to get several close ups.

All the resistors look to be Vishay/Dale and the output and cathode capacitors are Elna Silmic II bypassed by Wima, a good combination. It would also be nice if you can read the part number off the output buffers, but I'd guess that they're BD139/BD140.
