Have very little in this genre; looking for the higher quality bits similar to The Faint, Does it Offend You Yeah and some LCD Sound System (although I only like some of their stuff). Maybe id throw some IAMX in this grouping too...

Don't think kwitel would like this, but I want to talk about Robotique Majestique by Ghostland Observatory. The album was panned in the press. Which I never quite understood, because hair metal voc's over funky, driving analog synth riffs are the greatest thing ever to happen to music.

Heh, I should of left it up then. A good rip is cleanser for the soul.

Yeah, No Place for Me is super bitchin', and GO live is super bitchin' too, a real malt liquor kind of show.

Seconding the Stereolab recommendation, superb group.

'Emperor Tomato Ketchup' is the best album to start with.

Not for me. Way to poppy/happy sounding.

Oohh just plugged Stereolab into Pandora and I'm liking the first few seconds. Seems like I can usually tell within the first couple of seconds whether or not I'm gonna like the group or not (generally speaking).

And yeah, not sure whether Of Montreal fits due to not hearing any of the above mentioned bands on Pandora, but I love them. And their concerts are a blast.

You should try Lala.com. They let you listen to a couple songs and then make you sign up, but after that you can listen to every song once, and then you only get a 30 second clip of it after that. Of course, if one listen through an album isn't enough, you can pay like 10 cents for unlimited listens per song.

But, yeah, I'm giving some of these bands a try. So far, so good.
