On for sale is my Nuforce HDP DAC/Amp which I bought a month ago from The Mac Group here in Canada. While it is a fantastic DAC as well as a capable amp with a lot of input options (while keeping it all in a small package somehow!), I'm selling this because I've gone to Stello DA100 for my DAC needs. I actually bought HDP mainly as a DAC, and since I do prefer the Stello a bit more I don't need to have two high-priced DACs around. I can actually send this back to the store for refund (as it is still within the exchange period) if I want to, but since it's out of stock at lot of places I thought I'd put it here on Head-fi first.
The HDP will come with pretty much everything it came with originally from the store, including the unit itself, power supply, power cord, the original box, the toslink adaptor and the vertical stand. The only thing I'm NOT including is the Nuforce 1/8 to 1/4 adaptor, which I really like and decided to keep for myself. The unit is in flawless condition cosmetically and functionally for the most part but does have one thing that should be mentioned... this unit has the early production error where the 1/8 line input has its right/left channels reversed. I actually didn't send this back for repairs since I had absolutely no use for that extra input (since there's already a set of RCA line inputs plus optical/coax). If you would REALLY like for me to fix this problem, I can ship this back to macgroup first, but that'll take god knows how long. You may even be able to ship it back to Nuforce yourself and request it to be fixed... and they'll probably do it.
Due to that minor problem, here's my offer. I can offer this unit for a great price of SOLD shipped (MSRP is $449 USD I believe) with this problem intact, and leave that little problem for you to solve or deal with... or I can ship it back to the store, get it fixed, then offer it for the SOLD. Yes, I'm taking a hit with the price, but I'd really rather not deal with the issue of sending it back, getting it fixed, waiting, etc.... too much of a bother on my end... and I know a lot of you wouldn't have use for that mini line input anyway, so thought I'd offer it for this generous price here on Head-fi first.
I have a lot of feedbacks from here on Head-fi, ebay, and redflagdeals and would gladly supply them on request. I'll be using the Canada Post for shipping method, which is the USPS equivalent I believe. I'm only accepting Paypal for online payment, and sorry, but I'm only going to consider Canadian and CONUS offers for now (Canadians get priority). If you would like a local deal here in Toronto, Canada, then that'd be even better and you can subtract $20 off the price.
