Cowon S9 with V-Moda Vibe

I know I just joined, but I have been browsing all over the internet and decided the best place to ask my question was here. I was wondering if there would be a notable difference in sound quality by using a cowon s9 with v-moda vibes and Bbe and custum EQs than the zune HD. So basically with V-moda vibes would there be a big difference in sound quality between the cowon s9 and zune HD. Thanks for replying, and i know there are alot better phones out there but atm I can only afford those cheap ones and I won't be getting better ones for a couple months

With sound enhancements used the S9 will sound markedly better than the Zune HD. If the Zune HD gets an EQ in the coming spring update (if, as I'm speculating) the gap will be smaller, but the S9 (and Cowon in general) is the best for sound enhancements and EQ available. No other player has as much to work with, and can be tweaked so fully.

I owned both the S9 and the Zune HD, so I have a small bit of knowledge on this subject.

Ok thanks so i guess then I will be getting a cowon S9 with my v-modas untill i get better phones. But since im pretty poor lol ill prob be getting the 8gb version but i think thats ok. The only thing that might tip the scale would be if the Zune HD got a youtube app, wpa2-enterprise, and possibly a custom EQ. Gotta wait till spring update arrrg. Otherwise cowon here i go.

Ok i will update and btw another question lol would it take an audiophile to really appreciate the Cowon S9 or would someone like me who regularly listens to music, but doesn't notice the minute details in the music enjoy the S9. I heard the BBe demo and it was nice on a computer, so maybe it will be even better on the actual pmp with iems.

Sorry to OT slightly, but have you heard the S63x or any other S series sonys? I'm wondering whether to change from my S639 to the cowon.

The Sony E and S Series are excellent Choices as well, and you can't go wrong w/either of them.
