Sony extended service plans, what is your take? - Page 2

I stand corrected. I just got an online quote to cover $40,000 worth from State Farm. $500 deductible, only $368 a year, $30.67 a month. I'm going to get it.

Hrm sounds like a crappy policy they had. My friend used his renters insurance to claim his bike that got jacked on campus. He locked it up with a good lock and left it there for 10 min and it got jacked. 500 deductible but they valued his bike at like 1600 when he only paid like 800 for it as it was used. They didn't give him Cash they just bought him a new bike of the same quality. So he got a new 1400 dollar bike.

Dunno how old you are and such but if you go through your Parents Home Insurance you can get a lower rate.

That said also check out other places than just state farm be a good consumer.

I don't live with my parents, I'm 31 and my girlfriend lives with me. I am checking out other places but these online multi-quote services are all B.S. They just try to steal your info and not give you quotes. I just tried a few and of course I put in false information, except for a valid e-mail. It said it would give me quotes from 5 companies in minutes, which of course it did not. It just said I would be contacted by them. It's too late now to call by phone since they are all closed, but I will tomorrow.
