Rockbox questions - Page 3

If you put the rockbox software for a sansa clip+ on a different computer than the one used to transfer the music, will the rockbox firmware stay on the clip or do you have to use the same computer for rockbox and the music?  I am thinking about rockboxing a newly purchased Clip+ but I don't want the software on the same computer as the music.  Actually that computer has music only and that's the way I'd like to keep it.  But I have no working knowledge of the rockbox!

Um, the Rockbox FW is on the clip+, so what computer you use has no bearing on it's remaining on the player. Use the RB installer on what ever comp you choose, then add or remove music w/whichever comp you choose. ENJOY!!!
