Sansa Clip+ rockboxed but volume problem on when booting on Sansa firmware

Hi,

I successfully rockboxed my Sansa Clip+ but when I dual booted back to the original Sansa firmware it asked me to set Language. I selected English then it asked my location - I selected Europe. Now when I play music it sounds awful and very low. I pressed the volume up to the maximum but it still sounds very low. I have even tried to mess around with the EQ but its still the same.

What have I done?

Reset the player, once you get the location options select North America.

Cheers. It works now.

Strange thing is that the settings must of been set to North America when I bought it even though I bought the Sansa Clip+ in a UK store.

Just to clarify, if you set your area in Europe the volume is capped very low; that's where the problem comes from.
