How to fix Yuin PK2s?

My Yuin PK2 only works out of one channel and I'm almost positive the plug's broken (when I move the cable around near the plug sometimes I get a short noise).

Are there any suggestions for a low-profile 3.5mm plug? I don't need a right-angle one, just not a huge one. And how would I tell which wire is which when I replace the plug?

About the smallest 3.5mm plugs I know of are the Nuetriks. There are another type that are smaller but don't have a sleeve/casing, so you'd need to heatshrink it.

Hmm okay, I might get that brand of plug then.

Any answers on how to determine the wiring when I replace the plug?

Continuity? Not sure if this is a stupid question but would that allow me just to find the ground and not L and R? Could you explain please

red = right, blue = left, copper = ground (two of these)
