I really don't mind. This site is largely concerned with helping new people, and I think it's only polite to help them out and not expect them to do the searching on their own. This is a discussion forum after all, not a product wiki.

There are alot of reccomend me threads, but there are also alot of complaining about recommend me thread threads too.

The search function doesnt always work well, so i can understand why they finally feel they have to post a new thread.
My favourite is when they ask a question and never revisit that thread again and ask the same question a few days later and both threads fill with helpful answers that they never see.
I think its just entertainment for them to make threads.
Threads that arent revisited should be deleted.

Priceless.

Its equally as good when people post the same text in multiple forums (high end, amps and sources for example)
