Looking for a Y

Hey guys, I'm thinking of re-sleeving my D5000s, but the only problem is I need a Y splitter. Not one of those pre-made ones, just a blank one that looks good and has 1 input and 2 exits.

Does anyone know where I could find some? Or maybe just what to type into Google? I've looked for awhile and I'm still pretty much empty handed.

Though, I did find this. I would just link to the page but it only takes you to the homepage. It's under "Cable Management" if anyone wants a closer look. This thing is huge! (Yes, I bought one.)

I'm just looking for something like this, but for headphones, not speakers.

Thanks for the help guys.

try 'cable pants'

the viablue splitters are quite popular even though they were originally designed for speaker cables. Qables.com sells some neat looking ones. Cyberspyder, those are pretty cool, but they look too big for headphone cable use. They don't shrink down small enough.

Simplest thing is to by some cable pants as suggested and cut to your preference. Parts-express, wirecare, cableorganizer, and ebay are all good sources for cable pants.

Depends on your wire thicknesses I guess. For my recables, the smallest size is perfect.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys. Unfortunately nothing is EXACTLY what I'm looking for, but I'll see if I can make something work. Thanks again!

Wow, you do some great work! I like the idea of a physical Y though. What you did with heat shrink looks great, but I'm wanting to go for a different. I really wish ViaBlue made those speaker Ys for headphones. IMO those are perfect.

You can use the viablues for headphones. I have seen them a few times around here.
